pH Down lowers the pH of the nutrient solution to allow growers to manage and maintain optimum pH levels in their garden. Nutrient solutions should be kept slightly acidic for most plants, generally between 5.5 and 6.5. After adding the nutrients, test your solution to determine if the pH levels are correct and add a few drops of pH Down as needed to lower the pH level.
