American Nettings Garden Netting features lightweight, green, medium sized 1.59 x 3.18 cm (5/8 x 1-1/4 in) mesh, making it an attractive all-purpose netting. Uses include training vines, bird protection, and soil erosion in conjunction with mulch.
Use Garden Netting for:
Berry Plants
Simply drape over plants. Edges should be lightly covered with soil, weighted down or secured using Fabric Staples to protect against predators and to prevent wind mishaps. Can also be used for winter wrapping shrubs and small trees.
Climbing Vines, Beans, Peas, etc.
Secure sturdy poles at intervals, fasten one side of netting to the first pole with staples, nails or lacing (allow 10-15 cm [4-6 in] clearance from the ground). Stretch garden net to second pole and fasten. Continue procedure for additional poles. For maximum support anchor poles to ground using American Nettings Poly Line, Anchor Stakes and Poly Line Tensioners.
Erosion Control
After seeding and fertilizing, place a thin layer of plastic Garden Netting on the bank, then cover that with netting and secure it with pegs or American Nettings Fabric Staples. Grass will grow and conceal the netting.
