Environmental Factor™ Grub Busters® Beneficial Nematodes are a natural pest control solution designed to target and eliminate soil-dwelling insects. Nematodes are naturally occurring microscopic worms that actively seek out hosts, and this product contains tough varieties that kill soil pests such as grubs, flea larvae, weevils, cutworms, and more. Application is a simple three-step process: open the package, place the sponge into a hose-end sprayer, fill with water, and apply. Grub Busters nematodes actively seek out grubs in the soil and reproduce, providing lasting, natural pest control.
Application Directions:
Step 1 - Water Lawn
Grub Busters Nematodes are best applied when lawns are wet. Time application around rainy periods or water lawn prior to application. DO NOT APPLY IN FULL SUN.
Step 2 - Mix in Nematodes
Add water to top of sprayer, insert nematode sponge into water, replace lid, SHAKE VIGOROUSLY to evenly disperse nematodes. Nematodes can withstand pressures up to 200 psi, therefore can also be applied by an injector system or dilute them with more water and use a pump sprayer, watering can, or pail.
Step 3 - Attach & Spray
Start applying to most affected areas first as it contains complete coverage of lawn to provide total nematode coverage.
Keep lawns moist for next three days to ensure nematodes are flushed down into the root zone where feeding grubs are present.
Storage:
Nematodes are alive and should be used as soon as possible. They will arrive to you unevenly dispersed in a sptrip of moist sponge in a bag. Remove sponge from bag and apply to within 48 hours. Refrigerate at 4 to 10°C (40 to 50°F) to temporarily store nematodes until use.
