Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed is a lawn care product designed to nourish lawns while helping prevent weeds at the same time by using 100% corn gluten meal as a natural weed seed preventer. It works by absorbing water needed for new weed seeds, helping prevent the germination of dandelion and large crabgrass before they sprout, while also feeding existing grass to promote healthy growth.
This product should be applied twice a year-once in early spring before weed seed germination and again in late summer or early fall-and is intended for use on established lawns, as it does not control existing weeds. One 18.2 kg (40 lb) package covers up to 186 m² (2,000 ft²) and can be applied using a Scotts® broadcast spreader for even distribution.
